Every quarter, Apple updates its list of products that the company limits or ends support for, and categorizes these iPhones and MacBooks as either Obsolete or Vintage.
Obsolete products are ones that are have been off the store shelves for seven or more years. Because of this, Apple will no longer supply stores and service centers with parts.
Vintage products, on the other hand, are more than five years but less than seven years old. Stores and resellers will still support iPhones, iPods, and MacBooks in this category. If you are unsure if your MacBook Pro is now Obsolete or Vintage, we are listing each MacBook in both categories.
